What is a professional organiser?

A professional organiser is someone who works with you to create solutions to your organising problems that are catered to you. Providing ideas, information, support, structure and solutions that will enable you to meet your goal of a calm and clutter-free environment.

Why do I need a professional organiser?

If you’re here, chances are you’ve realised that you struggle to get (or stay) organised on your own. A professional can give you a fresh perspective, they can help you find systems that work for you, and help you get the job done efficiently.

How does it work?

First, we’ll have a consultation, either via a phone call, video call or in person. We’ll discuss your current situation, where you want to be and how I can help. This is FREE and will help us see if we’re a good match. Then, you’ll choose which package works best for you and your journey can begin.

Why should I declutter and get organised?

Having a simplified, decluttered and organised home will help you: feel less stressed, have more time, save money, and improve your quality of life.

It’s really dirty, can you still help me?

As long as the environment isn’t hazardous I am happy to help you. Hazardous environments would include human or animal waste and an infestation of vermin or pests. If you need “extreme cleaning” help I will be happy to give you a list of local services.

How long will it take?

This will vary person-to-person depending on your starting points in your space and your mind.

Do I need to tidy up before you arrive?

No, you don’t. In fact, leaving your home how it is will help us get a better understanding of how you live and use your space. There is no judgement here.

Do I have to be there?

Yes. These are your personal belongings. What is important to you may not seem important to me, and vice versa. I cannot declutter your items for you, but I am here to give you encouragement, help and support so you can simplify your space.

Can my kids and/or pets be there?

Yes, they can. Just bear in mind that young children and some pets can slow us down. We both want you to get the most out of our time together.

What are your packages and prices?

How are the services billed?

When you’ve decided on the package you’d like, drop us a call or an email so we can book you in. You will then be sent an invoice with the payment details. Please note that we cannot accept cash, and payment must be cleared by 24 hours before your first session to avoid cancellation.

Will you come to me?

Yes, all sessions will be held in the space you’re looking to declutter. Except for the initial consultation, which can be done via phone or video call.

Can you help me declutter my family’s stuff?

I can, with their permission and participation. Younger children are easier because you are their decision-maker. Older children, partners or other adults will need to be involved with the process so they can make decisions about their personal belongings.

Do you have advertising on your vehicle?

No. Your privacy is important to me.

Do you take before and after photographs?

I would strongly advise you to take pictures for your personal use, as this will encourage and motivate you to keep going and maintain your space. I will only take and publish photographs with your written and informed consent.

Where will everything go?

There are many options that we can discuss for where items can go. This could be local charity shops and schools, community projects, other families, or a waste recycling centre, to name a few. At no extra cost, I can take carloads to the desired destination for you at the end of our session.
